Bicycle Rental
We rent nice tough mountain bikes. Unfortunately our experiences renting road bikes and touring bikes preclude any further pursuit in that area. With these we are confident you cannot break our bike, and our typical customer, in town for a convention and dead drunk, has tried.
To rent a bike you'll need a Visa, MasterCharge, AmericanExpress, Optima or Discover card. We'll print it and settle when you return with your card, check or cash. Our most popular rate is a "weekend" from Friday morning until 8:00pm Monday for just $38. Of course you can make your own "weekend" from any four days.
Other rates include half-day from right now until close of business today for $9.50, overnight rate from right now until close of business tomorrow for $18 or any seven-day period for $55. You get the overpour, that is, it's good through seventh full day, for example from Tuesday afternoon until close of business on Wednesday of next week.
All rentals include Kryptonite lock and a helmet if you wish.
We do not accept reservations as we have no way to make someone bring their rental back on schedule. It's "first come, first served" and best availability is Friday morning. The rental rate is shamelessly structured to encourage you to take the bike for the weekend because we're just too busy to deal with rentals on Saturdays. As with so many aspects of life in America, we have a rental contract and you should look at it.
As a Santana Test Ride Center, we and Santana have a rental program available for our brand new Santana Tandems. Please email or call for specific details.
We have hard travel case rentals, suitable for road/Tri bikes up to 62cm. Base rate is $65 for a four day weekend.
